Now Bauer introduces its SUPREME SHADOW, their most innovative skate in the SUPREME series, designed specifically for the hockey player of the future. Engineered for the new era of powerful skaters, the lower portion of the SUPREME SHADOW uses stiffer materials for increased energy return and explosiveness, while the upper portion uses a more flexible and responsive material to maximize range of motion - providing unprecedented power and agility.
The Powerfly holder is designed to adapt and react to every movement. The rigid front post increases energy transfer in each cut while the flexible rear post provides faster lateral movements to help you be unstoppable on the ice. The SUPREME SHADOW skate has a 40% stiffer outsole compared to the SUPREME MACH skate - helping to increase acceleration and push-off so you can react faster on the ice. A new shape and improved integration between the toe cap and boot creates a stiffer and more responsive forefoot, improving overall comfort and agility on the ice.
The skate face provides unprecedented forward flex to optimize the power you can achieve in every cut. Thanks to the material choice of 12K Carbon CURV® composite, the construction is lightweight, supportive and heat moldable, making every cut powerful and comfortable. The plow is designed for comfort and performance with a traditional white felt as the outer layer and with an innovative injected insert to improve power transmission. The upper layer is made with a soft, plush material to provide a comfortable feel around the foot. The lower part has a grip material that holds your foot in place, helping to prevent unnecessary movement.
