Description
CCM Tacks XR Jr shin guards are designed for junior hockey players who play at a higher pace and need a shin guard with high coverage and shock absorption. The Max Coverage FZN shield design combines an injection-molded tibia shell with internal plastic reinforcement that provides extra protection on the sides and a calf fit that molds to the leg and stays in place during play.
The calf guard is constructed with compression molded EVA foam, PE plastic reinforcement and D3O® that helps absorb shock from pucks and impacts. The knee pad has an injection-molded Comfort Donut cap that helps support the knee and dissipate impact energy from the joint. The shin guard is injection-molded with reinforcement and a durable liner at the bottom to reduce wear. The thigh guard has Flexmotion construction in EVA foam and is adjustable and removable. The length-adjustable double calf straps together with a padded Hyper X lock strap keep the protection in place throughout the match. The removable liner has a knee pad and the ability to adjust tongues in or out to customize fit and protection.
