The Bauer Elite Chest Protector Sr is a goalkeeper suit designed for senior hockey goalies that combines comprehensive protection with mobility in the goal. The design is inspired by equipment used by high-level goalies and is engineered to provide stable coverage against shots while allowing you to move freely in the crease.
The chest protector uses multi-layer Impact Foam in the abdominal area to help absorb puck impacts against the body. The shoulder pads consist of HD foam with a pro-inspired dual-layer construction that cushions impacts around the shoulders. The sternum is protected by a floating shield made of molded foam that helps distribute the force of hard shots.
The arms feature a molded, pre-curved design with extra protection around the biceps and forearms, as well as reinforced RVH protection. Dynamic three-point flex zones in the arm floaters make it easier to move your arms naturally during saves and rebound control. The interior features mesh panels for ventilation, while a Thermomax liner in the back helps manage moisture during intense matches.
The fit can be adjusted via a removable Core Extension system in the torso and adjustable sleeves. A traditional wrist design with dual 360° protection provides a familiar feel and stable coverage around the wrists.
