The Bauer Elite Chest Protector Int is a goalkeeper kit designed for young hockey goalies, providing protection and mobility while playing in the crease. The design is inspired by high-level equipment and helps the goalie block shots while allowing for natural movement in the crease.
The chest area is equipped with multi-layer Impact Foam that helps cushion puck impacts against the body. The shoulders feature HD foam with a pro-inspired dual-layer construction that absorbs impacts around the shoulder area. A floating sternum guard made of molded foam helps disperse the force from shots that hit the center of the guard.
The arms feature a pre-curved design with molded foam around the biceps and forearms, as well as extra protection for playing in the RVH position. Arm floaters with three flex points provide better mobility when the goalie reaches for the puck. The inside of the arms features a mesh lining for ventilation, while the back panel is shaped with Supreme Shape and equipped with a Thermomax liner that helps manage moisture during play.
The fit can be adjusted using a removable Core Extension system in the body and adjustable sleeves. The traditional wrist construction with double 360° coverage provides a stable feel around the wrist and helps keep the protection in place during saves.
