Bauer Bauerbodyguard Neckprotect Shirt Yth is a neck protection shirt for young hockey players that combines cut protection around the neck with a technical base layer shirt for on-ice play. Developed to be worn under hockey pads, the shirt has a tapered hockey fit that follows the child's movements during training and games.
The material consists of polyester and spandex that provides stretch and freedom of movement during skating. The inner part around the neck contains fibers from DuPont™ Kevlar® together with polyester and stainless steel, which provides durable protection against skate cuts. The neck protector has A5 cut rating and is certified according to both BNQ and CE for protection against neck cuts.
Mesh panels under the arms increase ventilation and help release heat when the pace picks up on the ice. Silicone print along the sleeves helps keep the elbow pads in place during play. The fabric is treated with HeiQ Fresh technology that fights odor-causing bacteria. The adjustable collar with Velcro closure makes it easy to customize the fit so that the shirt fits comfortably around the child's neck.
