As important as it is to sharpen a knife properly , it is to grind the rail on your skates to maximize speed and performance. Prosharp offers products to make the right honing in these 4 simple steps: 1. Start with a ceramic PFB plate on each side before grinding (dry ) 2. After grinding Prosharp use the X3 's diamond flat side of each page (dry ) 3. Use the X3 's ceramic side. First flat, then 5 degrees angle on each side ( with oil) 4. Finish with PPB on each side and one light stroke at the bottom of the rail (dry ) Now you have a perfectly sharpened skate blade !
